Register today for Pennsylvania Sea Grant and the Center for Great Lakes Literacy’s free educator professional development program – A Deeper Dive into the Great Lakes Topic: Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) scheduled for October 1, 2026, 4:30-6:00 PM Eastern.

This 90-minute session will include an overview of AIS, a guest lecture from Casey Bradshaw-Wilson, Ph.D., an introduction to Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (MWEEs), and discussion time for resource sharing and tips for incorporating the topic with your learners.

  • What: Educator professional development sharing about aquatic invasive species (AIS, meaningful watershed educational experiences (MWEEs), and strategies to connect with learners
  • Who: Formal and nonformal educators of 4th-12th grade learners
  • When: Thursday, October 1, 2026, 4:30-6:00 PM Eastern

What’s Involved?

A $100 stipend is available for Pennsylvania formal and nonformal educators of 3rd-12th grade learners for the completion of the “What’s Involved?” items.
