What: Learn how researchers, educators, and community members are collaborating to reduce plastic pollution that enters the Great Lakes by visiting neighborhoods in Rochester that have trash capture technology called LittaTraps™ installed. Workshop participants will learn how these devices capture plastic pollution and how they can engage their students in engineering design challenges to create their own solutions to this issue.
